All mares are hand served. They are required to be swabbed before with certificate to be provided on delivery of the mare. Closest vet access is in Northam.
Mares can be brought just for their heat*, or can stay until positive pregnancy test. They will be floated to Northam for scanning at specialist horse breeding centre. (Vet costs at owners expense).
Agistment costs are as follows:
· Dry mare: $10 day + GST
· Wet mare: $15 day + GST
· *Free agistment for 5 days if only on property for their heat. See Contract for details.
Springbrook Farm is fully electric fenced to ensure that horses are safely confined to their paddocks.
Visiting mares can either be kept individually in smaller paddocks (approx half acre), or can be run in small groups of compatible horses in larger paddocks (approx 6 acres).
All horse paddocks are fully supervised and near the house.
